Dr. Lars U. Zanzig, Manager, Partner

studied physics with the main focus on optics and solid state physics at the Technische Universität of Berlin. He reached his Ph.D. in 1995 at the research centre of Jülich where he majored in thin film solar cells. As a project manager Dr. Zanzig advised small start ups at the Gründerzentrum Berlin, a private business incubator, on technology ideas. He furthered his career by moving to the Investment Bank of Berlin (IBB) where he continued giving valuable support to technology companies. In 2001 he founded an IP Asset company which deals with the exploitation of patents from Berlin universities. Since spring 2006 he has been a manager and partner of Serviva GmbH. He is a member of the Licensing Executive Society (LES) Germany and holds talks and seminars regularly on issues concerning the assessment of protective rights and their economic meaning for technology enterprises.

Dr. Raphael M. Jung Manager, Partner

studied automotive engineering and human-machine-system technology at the Technische Universität of Berlin where he completed his Ph.D. at the centre for Man-Machine-Systems Technology.From 1998 to 2002 he was employed at the Volkswagen group in the development of electrical systems and electronics as well as being a consultant. From 2002 to 2006 he was a manager of the legal department in a Berlin IP Asset company. Since spring 2006 he has been a manager and partner of Serviva GmbH.He is a member of the professional working group "Automotives" of the Licensing Executives Society Germany (LES) and the Vereinigung von Fachleuten des Gewerblichen Rechtsschutzes (VPP), an association of intellectual property experts. He is also active as an associate lecturer of the Technische and Humboldt Universität Berlin in the field of "Management of IP Rights".
