Your patent attorney carries out your interests in a patent juridical regard at patent offices and court, with the registration and enforcement of commercial protective rights. While Serviva operates for you as an internal patent department and as a professional organizer of your company interests with regards to your commercial protective rights. In this function Serviva co-operates seamlessly with your patent attorneys and the internal function managers (e.g. Management, Controlling, R&D department).

 

Does Serviva offer a patent exploitation on commission?

The commercial model of Serviva GmbH is patent marketing with a combination of a fee on initial work and a premium on a successful case. A marketing with a “fee on a win only basis” is not offered, as experience has shown that in the course of the utilization process circumstances can arise that lie completely beyond the influence of Serviva, which make a patent exploitation impossible.

 

When does a patent evaluation make sense?

A patent evaluation is always based on a definite appraisal occasion. It is recommended when you sell patents, licence them or if you want to capitalise them as an intangible asset of your enterprise.

 

To what extent does support by the management on protective rights make sense if a close collaboration already exists with a patent attorney?
