Monetary evaluation of trademarks
Do you wish to know how much your trademark(s) is/are worth?
In contrast to evaluation, which involves a qualitative assessment, patent valuation or monetary patent valuation is a quantitative assessment that results in a numerical value.
It is less concerned with the question of how likely a patent or a patent portfolio is to be valid from a legal perspective.
Instead, a numerical value should be determined, taking into account technical and economic factors in particular, which reflects the economic value of a patent application, a patent or an extensive portfolio on a key date.
An occasion for evaluating a single trademark or an entire portfolio may be the forthcoming sale or transfer of the property rights.
Depending on the reason for the evaluation, we select the appropriate evaluation procedure and collect the data for the evaluation in close cooperation with our clients.
Where necessary, we work closely with experienced trademark law experts (lawyers).
As a result, the customer receives a report in which the procedure and the calculation parameters are explained in detail in addition to the value of the trademark.
