The Expert Search gives the researcher the freedom to efficiently design the search queries with the fields, the syntax and the capabilities of the system of the respective Office. Absolute transparency, repeatability and official data – plus the whole comfort of the Patselect 4.0 System.
This eliminates time-consuming compilation of search queries within a field-driven or fixed search setting.

Benefit from individual colour markers (advanced highlighting) for your important keywords. Find the right places in documents efficiently and quickly when viewing results.
Quickly rate documents by relevance and retrieve rated documents again. Customize records with comments, ratings and categories / tags (matter id) and view and share with all users / user groups within a company.

Patselect 4.0 is characterized by an exceptionally clear presentation of results with all graphics and allows very fast scrolling through search results. No additional or individual clicking on the respective hits is necessary. Extensive links to further external information complete the results.
Data records can be individualized by comments, ratings and categories / tags. This information is then made available to all users of a company / group of companies.

Monitoring – Competitor and Technology Monitoring
The regular monitoring of certain classes and/or competitors, often in selected countries, is necessary, to ensure that property rights are not infringed by other competitors or that a particular company does not infringe on the property rights of other companies.
In addition, patent monitoring provides information about the latest publications in a given product environment, thus supporting research and development activities.
The supplementary monitoring module in Patselect 4.0 allows the creation of monitoring profiles in self-selected countries. A corresponding search run is automatically started weekly (date can be individually selected) and new publications are displayed within the database. Here, they can be provided with content comments, tags (labels) and relevance information.
In addition, the overview with result summaries is optionally sent as an e-mail.
The monitoring module can be activated within Patselect 4.0 for a fee.

Patselect 4.0 is web-based and encrypted bespoke servers hosted in Germany.
We have the option of storing your information (comments, ratings) in your company or law firm infrastructure – because it’s your data!

The Help and various functions are also available to you in all languages included, thanks to the fully parameterized structure, and courtesy of the Serviva international research team, which supports its colleagues “hands on” through the development process.
With an extensive WIKI we explain all the functionalities using search and input examples. A FAQ list deals with important questions and in case of innovations / adjustments in Patselect 4.0 we can add them to the WIKI on a daily basis.
At present the WIKI is available in German language. An English version is to come.
The Serviva team is available during office hours guaranteeing support and will answer your questions about Patselect 4.0. Individual digital in-house training for the database available by request.
There are several linking possibilities with other Serviva services e.g., creation of monitoring search profiles; results from research requests can be tagged in Patselect 4.0 to be displayed or further processed there.
